Maryland collectible car owners: As we hit the mid-summer car show season and
our nation’s 250th, the Maryland Collectible Auto Association (MCAA) seeks
information.
We call this request “ammunition = impact”
What does this mean? The ammunition is this: most Maryland lawmakers have no
idea what this hobby provides to our State in terms of our vehicles and
attendance at car shows for charities and service organizations. We know it is
significant – and they don’t.
So, let’s fix this and get some rough numbers to put up in front of them when
they propose legislation that impacts our hobby.

List the MD cars shows you brought your vehicle to. We know you hung around at least for the 50/50….
What MCAA is looking for is this:
1) Date and name of the car shows you attended
2) How much was announced as the proceeds going to community service or a charity
3) To which charity or organization (ranging from the local VFD to veteran support, pet shelter, or other).
MCAA will compile and deconflict. We’ll use these numbers in our interplay with legislators. $$$ talks and this hobby supports our State, it’s about time for recognition of such.
