How to Find Your Maryland Delegate and Senator
The Maryland Legislature is made up of two bodies: the House of Delegates and the Senate. Every Maryland resident is represented by one Senator and one or more Delegates, depending on their legislative district.
When legislation affecting the automotive hobby is introduced, both the House and the Senate must vote on it before it can move to the Governor for signature into law. That is why it is critical to contact both your Delegate(s) and your Senator when you have concerns, questions, or support for a bill.
How to Identify Your Representatives
- Visit the Maryland General Assembly website:

https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Members/District - Enter your home address to see the Delegate(s) and Senator who represent your district.
Once identified, you will find email addresses and phone numbers for each office. Reaching out directly is one of the most effective ways to ensure your voice is heard on issues impacting Maryland’s car community.
